I moved to NH because my father and stepmother lived here and as I've settled here I realize just how beautiful this state is.
My art is a direct experience of my life in NH. I love it right here on my farm where I explore my surroundings and experiment with landscapes, people I have met and much more.
I realized an interest in art when I was very young. I'd have to dig them out to see how old I was when I painted them, but, I can approximate that I was seven or eight years old.
I've found evidence of paintings that I had sent my grandparents long ago. I liked to paint horses and little mic e in mushroom houses with doors and windows, which are entertaining to view.
I returned to school to study art as an adult in 1995 and graduated in 1998. I then started a faux finish business painting faux finishes and murals...
I didn't start painting professionally until after 2001 when I began painting on canvas and selling in galleries. My work has been a representation of my growth in art and life. They coincide with one another and I love and cherish both.
